| Description: | Circa 1940s/50s Real Photo Postcard of the Cleveland Indians Hall Of Fame Pitcher - Satchell Paige. Satchell finally made it to the majors in his 40s after being the best pitcher in the Negro Leagues in the 1930s and 1940s. This RPPC of Satchell was produced over several years starting in the 1940s. SGC would not holder the postcard due to their inability to nail down the era it was produced. We are going to be a little more informative. The EKC Real Photo Postcard process was used in the 1940s and 1950s so we are assuming sometime after 1948 through the 1950s. The postcard is in nice postally unused condition with light corner wear and an edge ding around his shoulder on the left edge. |
