| Description: | This auction is for an 1888 Goodwin Round Album A36 of a quartet of New York Giants ballplayers including Mike Tiernan, Willard Brown, Elmer Foster and Bill George. This album page is in great condition displaying gorgeous lithography and a clean EX+ or better front with the manufactured hole for the twine to tie to the album together. The back was way ahead of its time with player stats (not until T205 cards in 1911). The back does have some light toning and a spot of paper attached and light surface scuffing from scrapbook removal. Still very high grade for this issue with great eye appeal. |
