| Description: | This auction is for a 1923 German Transfer Stamps Partial Uncut Sheet of 6 stamps Highlighted by Babe Ruth, Tris Speaker and Grover Alexander. This lot also includes a sheet that has had the stamps transfered including Casey Stengel and Charlie Chaplin. The complete German Transfer Stamps uncut baseball/boxing sheet was manufactured with 5 rows of 5 columns each (See Winter Auction 2014 - Lot #91). The sheet contains a mix of baseball players and boxers from the era. This partial stamp group of 6 from that sheet is highlighted by Babe Ruth and the sheet is in very nice condition grading VG/EX or better. |
