| Description: | This auction is for a 1928 George Ruth Candy featuring the New York Yankees Hall Of Fame Slugger - Babe Ruth #5 HOF. This George Ruth card is on the tougher White card stock and is titled "A Favorite With the Kiddies". NOTE ON LOTS 45-47: These George Ruth Candy cards were found recently raw paper clipped together apparently for decades. Card #1 has rust on the front of the card from the paper clip and conversely Card #5 has rust on the top of the back. The middle Card #4 was better protected but has a little wave to the stock on top. |
