The 1907 postcard has been postmarked from the same year with correspondence and a 1 cent stamp affixed. NOTE ON DIETSCHE CUBS POSTCARDS: For those unfamiliar with the Dietsche Cubs postcards, it is important to mention that these postcards were made in 1907 to commemorate the World Series between the Cubs and Tigers. Because they were produced in Detroit the vast majority of the cards that were kept were Tigers leading to the Cubs team to be a much scarcer collectible as a group. |
