| Description: | This auction is for an EXTREMELY RARE 1947 Sports Exchange Miniatures of the Chicago BLACK SOX Tragic Superstar - "Shoeless" Joe Jackson. These Sports Exchange Miniatures are scaled down versions of the larger and more common 7 X 10 premiums. They were offered in a sheet of six from three series with either green, red or gold borders. Note the back of the card and you can see the partial "Gold Border" that made a frame with all 6 cards present from the sheet. This "Shoeless" Joe Jackson card is from the toughest "Gold" Series and is one of only 3 SGC has graded and the ONLY SGC 96. |
